Well done to Alice Rafferty who competed brilliantly at the Athletics NI Cross Country Finals in Mallusk this morning.
What an honour for our school to have an athlete competing against the best in the province after only a few months of training. Alice finished in the top 30 of runners her age which is an incredible achievement after coming through 3 tough qualifying rounds overcoming hundreds of other athletes.

It has been a great year for running in our school with over 30 children in P6-7 taking part in training and racing events. We are hoping that we can build on this again next year and continue the strong tradition of running in Galbally.
