Two years and thirty days after our last whole-school assembly in the canteen, all the boys, girls and staff gathered in the canteen to mark the end of term celebrations.
Individual prizes were awarded for Accelerated Reader and Mathletics, with whole-class awards The Principal's Shield and St. Joseph's Cup also being presented to respective classes.
With Covid restrictions easing, this was the first whole-school assembly since our St. Patrick's day assembly on Friday 13th March, 2020.
We prayed as part of the Holy Week, and welcomed the Primary 1 and 2 children to their first whole-school assembly.
But mostly we were thankful to be together once again in the school hall as one, united school community.
